About

The Gamma Kappa Chapter

Members of the Gamma Kappa chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (aka Fiji) unite in brotherhood to help each other further embody the Fraternity's values: Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality and Excellence.

Throughout the semester, brothers participate in service, social and brotherhood events. From barbecuing before a tailgate, to competing in video gaming tournaments, to sweeping the streets of Golden - groups of brothers do it all!

One of our signature events is our hosting of Monday night dinners, referred to as MND's. We cook dinner and invite members from the sororities and other fraternities and anyone else on campus who would like to attend to socialize and enjoy free food. MND's are typically hosted every two weeks.

OUR COVID-19 STORY

When students were asked to return home in March 2020, FIJI took the news in stride, and stepped up to the challenge of maintaining our grades and our sanity. While in quarantine, we organized video call study groups for classes, socialized remotely through online gaming (Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Tabletop Simulator, etc.) and ran weekly Discord calls to keep everyone connected. We organed virtual brotherhood events, capitalized on digital service events (Extra Life and St. Baldrick's Foundation), and continued our dedication to being a network of support for our brothers.
